| Supply Chain IntegrationCoordination
Reconciliation, integration and coordination of the activities that are part of the supply chain cycle are now available as part of an optimized planning of the supply chain itself. These functionalities are part of the”coordination” integration area.
Supply chain event management maps all the detailed process steps within the supply chain, monitors all processes and activities, reports any deviations (such as delays in production and delivery), estimates the length of the delay and defines the measures to be taken. In doing so, the system integrates all business partners involved in this process to develop an alternative strategy to resolve the bottleneck.
Warning messages are generated in supply chain performance management. These messages are based on the integration of defined key performance indicators (KPIs), which are created individually and can provide information about costs, efficiencies and resources.
Customer relationship management (CRM) and order processing within supply chain management are connected by fulfillment coordination. This initiates, integrates, coordinates and controls the activities that result from a customer order and can calculate the workload for warehousing, transportation and logistics irrespective of whether these are processed internally or externally. | NewsEventIM&C at the Swiss Supply Hubs 2014WebinarNewsletter
