Integrierted Planning, Performance Management

Integrated Planning and Performance Management

Several studies on industrial group controlling show, that one third use to control their business by 2 to 5 key data. Data on turnover and sales rank first, followed by EBIT (Earnings before Interest and Taxes), EBITDA (Earnings before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortization) as well as product key data. These figures are often based on local results, allthough there is existing an extensive supply integration inside the company group.

Looking on the rentability of products, which are influenced by value chains in different countries, a global view on the costs is indispensable. But where is the advantage of the best key data system, if the supporting systems are not able to provide these figures?
