With increasing globalization and collaboration, companies continuously restructure and improve their supply chains. They combine and optimize internal and external sourcing options and in many cases establish legal entities to “tax-efficiently” buy and sell goods to the end customer. The result is complex, quantitative and flow-oriented business processes with little financial and cost insight. The Group Costing and Profitability of IM&C allows planning, analyzing and controlling the global value creation chain while optimizing cost, profitability and eventually taxes due to local authorities.

In this session participants will learn how to model a group-calculation and cross-company cost rollups, the underlying database and calculation algorithms and various reports and information available.
