Production Controlling, Earnings Statement

We leverage and keep it SAP

As IM&C focuses on manufacturing companies, the production controlling is of special importance.

To some extent our employees contributed to the SAP-solutions in the fields of product cost estimation and product earnings statement. In companies of different industry sectors, IM&C has established the cost estimation per item, integrated it into the product earnings statement and organized an appropriate reporting system including a variation analysis in reference to a target-performance calculation.

By consulting and implementation of the CO (controlling) modules in industrial enterprises, IM&C is well-experienced with the pros and cons of different evaluation methods and knows the characteristics of varied production types (bulk production with cost collector, serial production, assemble-to-order production, single-item production with follow-up costs etc.).

We consider that from the managerial point of view it is not necessarily an added value to calculate the average price to the split second, but the periodic settlement of the average costs provides some advantages. Therefore we intensely observed the genesis of the Material Ledger, participated in shaping it and supported numerous industrial enterprises in the implementation of parallel currency and classifying approaches, too.

In various countries (amongst others: Brazil), it is mandatory to use periodic evaluation methods. Due to the high complexity and missing integration in transnational value chains of trusts, IM&C has developed its own solution, the GCP engine, which reveals advantages concerning flexibility and architecture in many customer scenarios.
